Throughout her years making clients feel confident about their hair and makeup, Allison noticed a common frustration: many struggled with skin issues like acne, rosacea, eczema, and persistent blemishes. The makeup options of the time often worsened these conditions instead of concealing them. Allison understood their struggle personally—she had battled severe acne as a teenager and endured rounds of antibiotics and strong prescription medications, treatments that were effective but not without concerning side effects.

A Shift Toward Healthier Choices

In 2011, after the birth of her first son, Allison's perspective on health and wellness deepened. She embarked on a mission to seek out cleaner, healthier options, beginning with organic foods and products. Like many thoughtful parents, she questioned every ingredient in the products her family used daily. By 2013, Allison was a mother to three young boys, all while maintaining a full-time job. Her determination to keep her family healthy only grew stronger, fueling her research into everything that touched their skin.

Personal Struggles Spark Innovation

Over the years, Allison tried nearly every skincare product available, but soon developed rosacea—a condition that proved difficult to manage and conceal. Returning to her dermatologist brought a familiar solution: antibiotics and topical prescriptions. While these worked in the short term, Allison was wary of relying on them long-term and concerned about potential health impacts. This prompted her to search for a skin product that was not only natural and healthy, but also affordable.

The Birth of Amazing Balms

Retirement in 2021 offered Allison the time and freedom to fully commit to her pursuit. Around that time, tallow began to reemerge as a popular face balm and moisturizer. She purchased two small jars for $60—a price tag that struck her as unsustainable for most. Inspired by this, Allison committed countless hours to research and experimentation, finally perfecting her own tallow balm. For the first time, she knew every ingredient inside because she made it herself.

Allison's excitement quickly spread—she made more balms for friends and family, who in turn shared them with their loved ones. Their encouragement was unanimous: "You have to sell this!" But Allison set a firm condition—she would only sell her products if they were affordable for everyone. For her, the mission was clear: if she couldn't help everyone who wanted to benefit, there was no point in selling at all.
